Numerous sources on the web predict that Apple will have have an Intel powered iBook ready by January 2006. When Steve Jobs revealed his plans to switch to Intel he mentioned that the public could see the first Intel powered Mac in mid-2006. So it looks like Apple is way ahead of it’s schedule. But Alligator is looking forward to getting his hands on the Dual-Core Intel powered Powerbooks.

Update : Intel powered Apple Mac Mini’s are also predicted to be announced in January 2006.

Salling Clicker

Alligator was very fond of watching DVDs on his Mac. But everytime he wanted to skip chapters he had to actually come in physical contact with the Mac (keyboard or mouse). So alligator was not really happy about it until he found Salling Clicker. Once downloaded onto his S60 phone and his Mac, Alligator can now control most ( or almost all) of the Apps (like iTunes, VLC, Powerpoint, Mouse) through the phone. No more getting out of the lazy-boy; just use the phone as your remote. Quite a promising piece of software.
